Apprenticeship form

As i was filling in an Apprenticeship form there were questions like
What do you think is the key to successful team work?

Do you prefer to do one task at a time and stick with it until it is finished or have lots of different tasks on the go all at once and prioritise the order in which you complete them? Explain your choice. What personal skills would you like to improve? (e.g. time managing, questioning skills)

I left the answers to those questions blank, what type of suitable answers should I use?

Not the answer you were expecting but it needs to be your own answers.

Its a tough 1 if you dont word it correctly, re the personal skills you need to be honest but again its how you word it so it comes out as a positive rather than a negative.

The answers should be truthful as to what is in your head and your preferences, .

Answer the questions briefly on here and we will try to reword them for you.

    Effective communication.
(you'll have to research that in case they ask you what you mean)

    Explain your choice.
Both can be productive but seeing as you're applying for an apprenticeship perhaps the tasks you are given would come with priorities already provided... by someone who is supposed to be training you.

The first question is to check if you have a clue about teamwork, the second is a trick question which should lead to a comprehension question at interview and the third is to check if you are aware of your skill shortages and to provide evidence that you have some clue how you would like to make yourself more useful to the employer.

Write down a series of answers you are thinking of providing to these questions and then have a friend or relative read them to you and ask you questions about them. Ask yourself whether you would give money to someone who gave those answers and last of all, pick the one that seems to work best.

Being honest can help as well.

You need to not leave any questions blank - that's why so many people don't get past the first stage!
