Credit reports?

1) Where could I acquire a standard credit report, as I need to know my ccj details i.e case number etc . How could I also check my credit score?

2) To add a 'notice of correction' with credit expert and equifax? Where else would I require to add it in?

You should be able to get a free copy of your credit report from either experian(credit expert) or equifax. This involves signing up for a free trial, but print off a copy of your report immediately and then cancel the trial asap otherwise you will be charged. There are 3 credit reference agencies in total, i think call credit is the name of the 3rd. I personally think too many people get hung up on their credit score and really wouldn't recommend anyone paying for the privilege of getting it, as companies use there own scoring system when offering credit/loans etc! I think Call Credit would be the other place to add a notice of correction, but if there is anywhere else, hopefully someone else will be along soon to advise.

    Good luck

    hi mate

    thanks for your help there

I've already used the free trials with credit expert, equifax in the past.

So who's the cheapest out there? or is there anymore free trials around? lol

If you had an additional email address you'd be able to go back to the free trial scenario. I have a few email addresses with my email account and have set up additonal ones, so if you have this facility, give it a go.

There are only three credit reference agencies: Experian, Equifax and Callcredit.

You can always get a one-off report from each for £2, if you've exhausted the free trials.

You would need to send any notice of correction to all three CRAs.
