    I'm not sure exactly how it works for companies to decide to turn defaults into ccjs regardless of the amount. What I do know is that you will be chased by debt collection agencies up to and possibly after the 6 years from when the default has been applied. Obviously if the default hasn't been changed to a ccj, then it drops of your credit file after a total of 6 years from the date it was applied.
    If you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.
