Last time I picked up an order they simply requested the card I paid with, no need for the print out or order number.

When I picked my order up a few months back they didn't even check anything, I actually gave them the order receipt to see AFTER they'd given me the stuff :eek:

I think it's probably best to take something just in case. It's a pain in the bum IMO, with Asda all you have to do is take the card you paid on, much easier x

Just a quick tip/warning: When you get to the 'confirm order button' there is a link next to it about Tesco returns or t&c's (sorry, I can't remember which exactly without going through it all again). It mentioned having to pay back any discounts if you return some or all of your order.
As part of my order was for xmas presents I didn't proceed as it didn't seem worth the hassle.
