Are you sure its not Wifi - Theres a Wifi logo on the page and the reviewer talks about using Wifi...

I think the cheaper version might be the original Archos 7 Home Tablet which runs Android 1.5 and has a Resistive screen. Search the internet and you'll find you can upgrade to Android 2.2 fairly easily but theres no flash support, so sorry, no iplayer. Use a stylus and the screen is more than usable on these.

All I can say is be really careful before ordering anything from Pixmania, they are not the best company to use with lots and lots and lots of unhappy customers.

It is WI-FI. Cheaper here too.

The thing you should be aware of is the fact that it runs Android 2.1 which isn't really designed for tablets.
  • I am not sure if archos have access to the full android market as I waqs into getting one last year and it put me off. Appslib, Achos' own android app store, is severely limited. there are ways around it though
  • The archos 10" is in my local HMV for £129 but it doesn't seem to be online (HMV worthing if interested)
