willow for sale/available to NI?

Hi,
Can anyone recommend a seller of willow whips for constructing an arbor for my back garden and for the living willow to grow through the whips? I cannot find anyone online to provide this who isn't charging a fortune in postage!! Any help would be appreciated.

I've a quantity of different colours of willow in a wet part of the garden. They were grown from pencil width unrooted lengths which i bought from commercial growers about 6 years ago. Mine all require a severe cutting back so you're more than welcome to take the cuttings although the timing seemed very important so you'll need to check that out.

The Ecos Centre in Ballymena has acres of willow which the cut regularily I believe. I do not know if they sell it to the public, but it might be worth an enquiry.

    Hi,

You should check out Clandeboye Estate, purchased Willow trees from them a couple of years ago, all grown on the estate. They had whips as well as trees of all sizes. Money from any sales go to support other conservation projects.
