What Should I do with this Cheque from CCCS?

I have recently, last month finally cleared my debts. It has taken 6 years and the help of the CCCS. At the outset I closed my bank account on their advice and opened a new basic account which later became a full current account. About 6 months ago I opened a new account with a new bank so I could have a fresh start with my banking and I am really happy with this. I always paid my CCCS at the post office so bank was not aware of CCCS payments. Yesterday I got a cheque for £34 from CCCS as I appear to have overpaid. I don't want to put it into my blemish free current account but that is the only account I have. It has a dirty great CCCS emblazoned across the top. I wonder if my bank will even register it. Some of you may think I am being silly but I feel like I did the crime, did the time and I don't want my new bank to know about this. What would you do? I had thought of donating back to CCCS but the new improved MSE in me says think how many groceries you could get for that! I would really value your opinions. Thanks o wise ones!!:D

It won't even register. Bank staff are far too busy trying to sell useless policies and get people to upgrade their accounts and rip them off for a commission. As there is no commission in this for the bank staff, they won't even notice.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. Some bank staff will not even know who CCCS are. So stop worrying and pay the cheque in.I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013

If you've made payment arrangements to clear your debts, your bank are most likely already fully aware. That's what the credit files are for. So be proud of your achievement, pay the cheque in and don't give it another thought
