Hi,
Is it possible to sell an existing single property and transfer mortgage across 2 flats.
Eg sell property with £200k mortgage and buy 2 flats worth £100k each

It would have to be two new mortgage applications as each loan would be secured on one property. Also you can't physically live in both so you would be probably looking at one residential and one BTL mortgage.
Is there any reason you want to do this?0
