Booked our wedding yesterday

We are getting married at 12pm on 12.12.12!
We aren't having a traditional day as we just can't afford it so it is going to be a registry office ceremony and a meal afterwards. No speeches or anything. We aren't planning an evening reception as it's not something that we want and there will only be a few close family attending and out of them only a couple would want the drinking and entertaining in the evening anyway. There will be a maximum of 30 people in total.
I already have my dress (I just need to fit in it!!!) I am pregnant at the moment so that is something that will have to wait until next year after baby is born.
We have only booked the ceremony so far - we are looking into contacting a local camera club to see if anyone is interested in taking a few photos for us and what that will cost.
We have short listed a few restaurants and hotels for the meal but I think it will probably end up being more expensive than we initially thought and we will probably have to rethink the catering side.
DF is from South Africa and his family are still over there - he is convinced that there is no point in inviting them as he is sure that they will not come over here (they've never been here in the 7.5 years he has lived here) but I have spoken with his brother to try and arrange for them to come over for the wedding and he is on board with this but I am trying to plan it as a surprise for DF. The plan so far is to collect them from the airport and deliver them to a hotel and then take DF to see his "wedding present". I'm hoping between future BIL and myself we can pull this off and get them here.
We aren't sharing our news that the wedding is booked with anyone else at the moment. Some friends have been trying to invite themselves since we got engaged (6 years ago) but we want this as a day just for family and not only that it will keep costs down by not having the extra 9 people there. We aren't sharing the news with my family because as money is tight for us and my parents will start offering to pay for most of it and I know they their finances are tight also (they do a huge amount for us all year round financially which upsets me) so we are wanting to pay for this ourselves and just have them enjoy the day.
My eldest son will be ring bearer (he'll be 12) and the youngest 2 they will be 4 and 11 months) will also play a part but we haven't thought that far ahead yet.
I'm planning on doing the flowers myself to cut on more costs (don't know how that will turn out but I'm staying positive). BIL to be will be best man (DF won't know this until just before the wedding)
Colour scheme I am thinking maybe blue but I'm not completely sold on this yet - another thing to play with. Favours I am thinking of buying lucky dip lotto tickets for the adults, rolling them and tying them with ribbon of our colour scheme and attaching labels for place cards - not sure on this yet though.
I think that is everything so far. Sorry it has been such a long post but after being together for almost 9 years and engaged for 6 I am very excited that I am finally going to be the love of my life's wife :j

Congratulations. Restaurants and hotels will be in the middle of their Christmas Menus and parties. You may need to book well in advance.'You can't change the past, you can only change the future' Gary Boulet.
