hours cut at work

just need some advice im contracted to work 40 hours pw i handed in my notice but retracted this wothin 2 weeks my manager kindly said i could retract this and i will keep my same hours. yesterday i got a letter saying my hours have now been cut to 20 as there is no work i dont understand why she said i can have the same hours and now its been cut. i really dont know what to do does she have to give more than a days notice?

She has done this because you are now unreliable to her. It's payback for mucking her about handing your notice in, withdrawing it.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

Does your contract allow for varying the hours or layoff?
if not then you can fight this could be that you get made redundant if you don't accept the changes. But you miht be able to claim full pay
If it does allow for varying hours you need to consider if you want to be made redundant and if layoff rules apply.
They have been a bit crafty by 1/2ing your hours below 1/2 is needed for trying to force redundancy

hi ya in my contract it says a months notice is required if any changes are made to my contract0
