Entered this ages ago, checked everyday to see if i had won.
A couple of weeks ago a postcode from 2 streets away came up ,I thought well that's as close as i am likely to get :( Checked on the 27th to see my postcode :j claimed and had an email to say i had won £40.00 well happy, within 20 mins of me claiming it the money was in my Paypal account
Yesterday had an email telling me that as i was the only person in my postcode to claim my winning are £117.00p :T just waiting for Paypal to email me to claim the extra cash ,will come in handy for Christmas :) well worth signing up for www.freepostcodelottery.com

Well done-do you HAVE to check it every day or will they let you know if you have won? Im in this and get a daily e mail urging me to check, but I don't bother-just wondering if I should?

Hi Emuchops ,you need to check everyday,if your postcode is drawn and you miss it the money rolls over to the next day,i just click on the email they send me and it opens up their site with your registered postcode and the winning postcode comes up,if it's yours you have to claim it and you can get paid by Paypal ( i expect you can choose how you want it paid ) :)

I pay the winnings through PayPal using the email address that you enter on the site with. If you want I can cancel this and sort out alternative payment. I use PayPal because I didn't want to frighten people off by asking for bank details or an address to send a cheque to.

I am more than happy using Paypal and as most people have a Paypal account this is the safest way. :D and latemodern (Chris) you are a gentleman :T

    Hello all,

Just a bit of expectation management here :D

The email that Gethro received meant to confirm that he had won £40.26 (despite the fact that I had already paid him). There was a bug caused by a recent site update that caused this to come out at £117.26.

Anyway, I've paid Gethro the extra £77 and am very much hoping the same thing doesn't happen again! :embarasse

Good luck and thanks for your posts!

    Chris

Well done. Hopefully *when* I win, the bug will show £10,000 ;)
