Yes it' s odd how everyone on here seems to have gone quiet about the issue. Perhaps they've all had settlements and told to keep mum about it.....Happiness is wanting what you have, not having what you want.

I keep coming on here in the hope of some good news and getting really disappointed. I really need a glimmer of hope. Can anyone give me that?? Denza where are you? We need you...0

I just can't understand how FSC have backed Santander on this one when erroneous claims like wonga get upheld, atleast they knew what the rate was when they entered and it didn't change. Mine is at 20% and was originally 6%, I have a decent credit score now and not a high risk so how do they justify it!0

It would be nice to know what other rates people are paying on their outstanding flexi baance? Anyone?0

I thought I'd ring santanders complaints department, their response was very rehearsed, directing complaints to the ceo email address, they did offer alternative of applying for a new Santander loan to repay and replace it which I thought was nice (note saracasm)0

OH just finished paying off theirs. Rate has been 0% for the last 18 months or so. For whatever reason...
Mine was 21%:beer:0 -

Still baffling me!
This is my loan statement;
Original Loan Amount £9700
First transaction 21-06-02
Loan end date 21-12-9999 (so it's over a 9997 year term!)
at 20% APR
with a contractual payment of £153.81, it leaves the loan type blank.
with no mention of ability to make overpayments.
my actual payment taken is £155.12 and interest payment is £105.36.
This is the rate charged since 11th August 2008, i'd have to know the balance on that date wouldn't i?
At my reckoning that is a term of it finishes February 2025, why are they not required to show this on the statement!?!0 -
