Surprise ....My complaint with FOS has also been rejected looks like another standard letter they never even contacted me to deal with my complaint. How sh't is that.
The reason for the rejection does not even tie up with my compalints......I don't think they are really looking at the complaints correctly.
Well I have until the 5th of feb if I want to appeal...any ideas how I should take this foward as there are so many threads now, I have no idea how to proceed.
Thanks for everyone support on this matter...hopefuly some day we will get justice.0 -
Hopefully a few of you are already doing this but you need to get together, exchange emails, pm each other, and decide how to get this to small claims. It's important to keep the pressure on the fos by appealing their cut and paste responses but ultimately they cannot deal with this.
Unless one of you has circa £500 to hand and has a claim under 5k, you'll need to club funds. You could also do with a barrister as this is a whole new issue of financial misselling. Not a necessity as you could just test the water without a legal opinion.
In our case we have and its been invaluable but it has cost over 2k on top of court costs. But then again we've got over 100 people who've contributed so it's not a huge hit individually.0 -
I too have had the letter from the ombudsman ruling in favour of Santander. They have failed to address all my complaints. Feel it is now a standard reply. What has changed to reverse the ruling I wonder0

I'll upload my FOS response later (if possible) so that others can see if there is much of a difference in the reponse type.0 -
Is it possible to change the "w" to a "t" in the thread title as it's kind of annoying me?

That's almost a cut and paste version of the response they gave me.
Has anybody else had some new T&C's sent to them by Santander? I had them sent to me a few weeks ago and they have removed the term "from time to time" from them, not sure why as the FOS quote thatT&C as being in their favour in the response they sent out. Very strange!0
