I would recommend shop and scan to anyone who can get onto the panel. Once you are on, you can request to join their other panels, like food on the go, consumer pulse, and webview. All these panels add up and whilst food on the go and the food diary is a bit fiddly, worth it for the extra vouchers.

I used to do shop and scan years ago and gave it up because DH didn't like the sound of the clicker! :wall:  I soon realised the foolishness of that and have now told him tough!

I also do webview with them. All that is, I downloaded a bit of software to my computer and they get information on what websites I visit. No, they don't capture your internet banking details and considering the security measures I have to go through to log in, they would have a hard time! They just see what sites I visit, like ebay, netmums, survey sites, approved food, etc. For this I get 500 points.

£27 for being on call last weekend (after tax, boo) and someone picked up an eBay item last night for £3, making my total £100/£600 so far! I've got a day of Maximiles, listing on Amazon and Play and surveys to look forward to!

Have a lovely stress free weekend Sweet and thanks for running the thread.
  • I wombled my best ever apg at the end of october - £24.59 :jso I hope to include that for November seeing that I started late. Found £1.35 down the back seat of our new (well new to us) car, and 14p roadkill walking back from school. My neighbour also repaid me £1 for getting her some filters ages ago (Id forgotten).

Im very proud of myself for being so money aware. Im also 11 days into slimming world plan and am "in the zone" for the first time in over two years. I lost 6 st 3 years ago, kept it off for a bit, then family tragedy left me a crumpled mess and unable to take care of myself - if there was a degree in comfort eating and self destruct - then I am a fully paid up graduate!

Before buying the new (used) car we actually won one on ebay but when we went to collect it was so far away from its description it was unbelievable. We made out to the guy we'd gone to the cashpoint but of course was on our way home, despondent. I texted out of courtesy pointing out all the cars' indiscretions and apologised and the vile man replied that I was a "to**er and shold try the atkins diet!". Despite his rudeness it did trigger my change of attitude - no amount of self-medicating myself with chocolate is going to change what has happened so I digged out all my old s.w books, and feel ready again. As I say, 11 days is just the beginning but its a massive step forward for me.

Planning how to save extra this month is a very welcome distraction.

Have got a set of alloys in the garage which no longer fits our car so they are going on local trade it later.

Mags you just reminded me, this lady offered me her trolley yesterday, she didn't want to have to push it back round to the supermarket, I told her I didn't have a £1, she said that was fine, and so I got to keep her £1 :)

Thanks sweetpeas for running this thread - it's amazing how motivational it is!

I have decided that I can only count stuff that I can move into savings and still stick to my regular budget. By the end of the month I should have an extra £300 in the savings and not be in overdraft :D

Still not quite made a whole ten pounds yet, but I know there are some bigger amounts coming. The effect on my behaviour is peculiar though - I walked home yesterday (£1.10 bus fare saved) thinking about this thread! I ***shhhhhhhhh*** even made sandwiches for work today (£1.55 lunch money saved) for the first time in ooooooooo about 10 years :rotfl:

Yet to be counted, but I spent yesterday evening clearing the photos off an old mobile phone that I've sold (£34 Fonebank plus an extra £3 from Quidco) and need to post it today - Freepost natch! :)
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.
  • Aesop - thats happened to me before too. Id just parked up and the person in the row in front were packing their boot. They had a coin trolley and just left it on the side. I couldn't get out of my car quick enough to nabb that one!

Don't you just love it when that happens, lol.

Hoping to womble some morrisons receipts towards the xmas voucher offer although absolutely p****ng down here today so don't even feel like going out.
