Is it me or is the Decembers thread only a single post?

£10.43 from gumtree deal finally landed in my acount as did a cheque for £418.19, council tax overpayment :D

Major illage today, my baby girl has the flu, suffering really badly and has kindly passed it on to me. I hadnt even gotten over a cold when all of a sudden last night I couldnt stop shivering and aching. Its going to be a long day...but for now, sofa calls.

£3.70 saved because I'm working from home today, so no bus fare and no lunch money needed! :p
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.

Here is the December 2011 challenge :D

Aesop, that link just goes to a single post view, rather than the whole thread, so the Reply option isn't there.

Think this should be the link to the thread itself.

While I think about it though, how do you post a link within a single word/phrase?? (like you have done for the word 'here'.) I've always wondered?!?

  • I've got a grand total of...29 parcels to post today, and that could increase before I get to the post office! May declare total after that as I have told the OH I will pay for his car tax. Couple of parcels are being sent late but I came down with that horrible flu thing and I've got a feeling I may have passed it on to my baby boy- he's only 5 months old (on Thurs) and was up most of the night.

To be honest haven't done much more money making than eBay this month as it has taken up so much time! If I have used coupons I haven't added them because its hard to know how much 'I' have saved as all the groceries come out of the Joint Bank Account. Speaking of which need to check for paypal payments....

    Hey Everyone,

Finally made a bit more money today :D ..... 25p student discount! :rotfl:

Only joking, lol, there's more! Got a free fiver from BHS as their promotion is still running where you get a free £5 voucher when you buy a £25 gift card. Could have done it twice really as I spent over £50, but had enough on with returning the original dress I bought (:A), buying the gift card, then applying for the store card to get a £10 gift voucher! :j AND I GOT ACCEPTED!!!!! :j Wasn't sure if I would or not as I had a default in the past (although that is due to finally drop off my credit report in March :)).

It's a cashback card, and you can get 5% cashback in BHS, Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, etc, and 1% everywhere else. I'm actually pretty excited as I've only ever had rubbish cards before, it will also help me with this challenge as they send out the vouchers you earn every three months (just like the clubcard vouchers) so they will be a nice bonus every now and again. The £10 gift voucher for opening the account gets sent out with the first statement so will add it then.

Ooh and not only that, but they told me that they've got a special event running on 7th Dec where everything instore will have 25% off!!!!! :) Even sale stuff! :D I noticed today that some of their gifts are already reduced, so I'm definitely going to make the most of it on wed!

£19.38 saved on shopping today. If I hadn't split my shopping and decided to do half on Thursday when price drop kicks in, I would have made target today :(
