Hello. Can I sneak back in? Just realised that I haven't posted on here since the thread began:o:o:o.That is disgusting as I read most days and people go to a lot of trouble keeping this thread going.
Have done well this month total is £169.15 so far.
e-bay was £99.25,handmade cards sales,£4 L.V.,£10 sains.voucher,£20 Am*zon Voucher,£4.15 co-op divi and £7.50 Tesc*.£5.25 Music M*gpie.
Some are small amounts but they've added up nicely.
Will there be a December thread? Keeping up to date with surveys,so who knows ,maybe something to add to that.
Thanks to all who have inspired me to keep earning :Tilovetea xxMake £2024 in 2024 £1161.08

My food diary just arrived in the post-its huge! I didnt realise it would be this big....whats the reward again?!
is it £5 and if you do all of them over the year £35 over the year?
or is £15, but you will find you won't need to fill all off it, once you get used to it, just some of it.0 -
Grr Ebayers not paid yet!! What is it with these people!!:heart2: THANK YOU MARTIN!! :heart2:0

£52 worth of Ebay sales (excluding postage), so just need to deduct ebay and paypal fee's and I will have made my target. :j
I have really opened my eyes this month to the amount of unnecessary spending that I have been doing and it is amazing how quickly it adds up. £36 saved bringing my own lunch to work & £30 saved taking a packed lunch on days out with the kids - saving that money caused zero hardship what so ever and infact if anything we ate better on those occasions than we would have otherwise. Over the course of a year that is £780 just on its own.
Sorry to go on - but I have really had my eyes opened since starting this challenge re: how easy it is to waste / fritter money on nothing in particular.
I am also aware how much we spend on our monthly grocery shop and that is my big goal to tackle in the forthcoming months. We seem to have been spending hand over fist on groceries and in honesty have no idea where the money is going.
After perusing the old style thread and grocery challenge info there is a heck of a lot I can do to save £££. I want to get back to a lot more home cooking / batch cooking and utilising my chest freezer properly and wasting less food. So, a meal planner is the way forward, writing shopping lists and buying what we actually need is the big challenge for me now. I have bought a note book today and am writing down EVERYTHING I buy and start to keep track.
If I can even shave £25 pw off our bill, keep up bringing own lunches to work and picnics for days out that potentially is nearly enough to pay for the family holiday each year!! Feel like I have really opened my eyes to things and only wish I had done it sooner. Catalyst to all this has been this challenge, so a huge, big, massive thankyou!!0 -
Oh my goodness. Am I the only one watching Deal or No Deal at the moment shouting DEAL!!! All their talk of debt problems of the girl playing, and she is considering not taking £26,000 even though it's more than enough to clear her debts.Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £1700
