It is! It only takes a couple of minutes each time... which works out at £33 per hour, lol. :D They also give you surveys every now and again which take 5 mins max, but pay £1 a time.

Ooh, and for the last couple of years they have given a xmas bonus (£5-6 I think?) if you transmit each week over the holidays - I don't know if that's a definite this year though, they'll probably tell us in about 2-3 weeks if they're going to do it.

I had an email sent last week about the Christmas bonus. Though I have just had a search for it in my emails to check how much extra it would be, and can't seem to find it now. I'm sure I got it though and haven't just imagined it.
Think it was £6 extra for transmitting each week in December, and possibly the first week of Jan too, can't remember.
Will have a proper search for the email later on.

Have just packed 11 more Ebay parcels, only fairly small amounts for them all, but will work out the total when I get back from the Post Office.

Need to get my bum in gear and finally go to Mothercare to exchange something as one of the presents we've got for my son for Christmas, my parents told me last week they had bought for him! So I will exchange our one for something different.
Typical that Mothercare is in completely the opposite direction to the Post Office!!

But I do have a daily bus ticket today, so I try and fit in everything that needs doing in one day, :money: because buses are blooming expensive these days!

£4.10 today from getting a lift to work, walking home and bringing in the leftovers for lunch :)

I also sold 4 things on Ebay over the weekend and one book on Amazon, yay! Off to the post office after work. I am being good and not updating my total until the money comes in though.... ;)
I've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.
  • Been sorting out all my DVD's for MusicMagpie. I don't watch them. The only ones i'm keeping are my blu-ray ones as we sometimes watch those with the kids. I just said to my hubby that you only get pennies for the DVD's to which his reply was "they are paying you to make space you need". Makes sense! Lol. So i have registered, and they are going. Might be the cheque for next months challenge now as its quite late in the month.

Does anyone know if there is somewhere who buys books? I have LOADS, and quite a few textbooks too if anyone knows where i can get rid of them. Hate putting them on ebay because of the high postage. I think i read last month that there was somewhere who bought textbooks but the october thread is too long to skim through! :D

On the sick this week recovering from a bad water and kidney infection so have been spending time trying to make space in this house! Lol.

  • I discovered £11.00 in an old Nationwide passbook in my maiden name when sorting through some paperwork carp. Haven't got use of a car for a few days so will have to wait until next week to take it into town. My neighbour tells me it costs nearly £7 (there and back) on the bus . No way am I paying that out on an old smelly bus. I used to rely on buses all the time until a few years ago when OH started working from home and I had the car during the daytime. I can't believe how much it has gone up.

Thanks, it is great when your kids enjoy making money just as much as you do! :D We're yet to do a car boot - I keep meaning to, but I'm like your DD with the early mornings, so may never get around to it :o.

Pinch away, lol, I'm glad that you can make use of the idea! :)

Thanks Hun :o I'm really excited about it. We're going to start this week at some point so will keep you up to date ;) were aiming for £50 each to start with to make it seem 'do-able' for him, then might up the game a bit depending how we go :D

Will update sig in a bit once i've worked it out :)

thanks for the advice people, much appreciated

not just shopping, if you sign up for webview, that is an additional 500 points a month, they may invite you to join one of their other panels, consumer pulse is a good one, if you get invited. Skyview pays 500 I believe. So definitely worth it.

Some peeps make £100 in vouchers every year!

Post on the techie board if you want to partition your linux, the tech guys there should be able to help.
