    Hey Everyone,

I've started an ebay challenge with DS1 :D. We did it a while ago when I needed some more money to go towards my new car, I promised him that I'd buy a toy that he'd been wanting if he helped me make some money, we aimed to make £350 (made about £400 :)). He got really into it and really loved seeing the total add up, he was also really helpful with photos and finding things to sell.

We're now doing it again (I need him to clear his room out as we're swapping bedrooms)... but with a twist! We're going for £700, which is £350 each. We're having a race to see who can get to £350 first - if I win he's promised to keep his bedroom tidy without me having to ask/nag :), and if he wins I've promised to buy him any toy he wants (don't worry, I know exactly what he'll ask for... and it's only £20! ;):D). We've made a good start already, and it's really helping me get into it as I've hardly sold anything for months :o.

Other than that, I've had woohoo in the background (335 gold so far, can't bloomin' wait till I get to 400!!!), and have used a couple of extra points coupons, but no real money to show.
DS1 made target today though ;), we received a letter from DWP telling us that he will be paid a £10 Xmas bonus with his DLA - he was so excited, it was so funny, he just kept saying, 'I've made £10 a day! I can't believe it, I've made £10 a day!!!' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: He's really getting into this money making lark!

    Evening all,

Heavy weekend.. early night tonight to catch up on some much needed kip!

Lolly, that's an absolutely brill idea getting DS involved, it's brill to teach them the value of money young... my DS loves going to carboots with me in the summer bless him. DD enjoys it too but I tend to leave her in bed (bless- isn't that rotten!) with her Daddy now it's an early get up (when we used to have the caravan it was only 6.45 am so we all used to go, but now we do them near home it's 3.30-4am get-up and DD can't hack it bless her :o ) Can't wait until it's carbooting season again.. saddo.. :D

I think I'm going to pinch your idea lolly if you don't mind :o DS would love that sort of challenge and it will be good to have a little clear out before Santa comes :D

    sweet x

Thanks, it is great when your kids enjoy making money just as much as you do! :D We're yet to do a car boot - I keep meaning to, but I'm like your DD with the early mornings, so may never get around to it :o.
