    I know!
Which is fab for us sellers as they are often willing to pay more that things would actually cost in the shops!!
Obviously I'm not buying to sell on, but it means that the bids get bumped up nicely!!
Half of November Make £10 a Day Challenge: £51/ £170
  • Morning all

Nothing to add today but sales yesterday and today. Sold another handbag on Friday so the money will be hitting ebay this week. Got £22 :)

People are now looking big time for pressies on ebay so now is the time to list I think. I have one more good bag and I am going to list it this week. Happy with total at the moment.

    Best wishes to all.

  • WOO!!

Just finished all my xmas shopping for DD - all done covertly within 2 hours online and managed to save over £44 by shopping around, should be some nectar points and topcashback rewards to follow too :) very pleased with myself...as I'm never usually this organised!

Managed to cash £60+ worth of amazon vouchers accumulated with online surveys since the summer :)

so with the shopping around and the vouchers I reckon I've just halved my xmas expenditure this year!!! :D

p.s. with this I just hit my target :)

thank you all for your continued inspiration xxx ((hug))

email them and tell them, we don't do their surveys.

I have been out and could not reply on my phone to you.

I did set up a new thread for swagbucks but it got deleted, quelle suprise!

Fairyclicks had a thread, Fairyclicks thread, with helpful hints on there, might need to post on there instead.

do the searches but don't use swagbucks to make random searches to try to win points, they monitor for it. just make your usual searches, watch the videos, you earn 3 bucks for watching 10 videos. there's more but will leave it for the other thread.

Thankyou Aesop, I e-mailed them as you suggested. Like you, I won't do any more of their surveys.

Why was the Swagbucks thread deleted? I would imagine it'd be a good idea to have one.

Thank you so very much to Batgirl for starting this challenge, in my first year of doing it I have made £5764.92 in extra income for Nov 2010-Nov 2011.

This year im hoping to smash that and for this month Im going to up my target to £20 a day. Starting me off is a refund of council tax, cheque cleared for £417 :D

Ahhhh Thanks for this and thanks Aesop for making me aware of the post.

It really is fab to see all the success people have had with this thread. I love the way everyone feeds off each other, and inspire each other with new innovative money making ideas.

Your all awesome and the feeling of being debt free is even better!!!

I am currently sat here debt free with a little nest egg of saving but still ebaying away as we speak to top up my Christmas savings with some free money.

    Well done all x

still waiting to hear, might take a while. It was probably violating something!
  • Hi all!

First time I have been on this thread and after lots of reading I think I'm getting the idea! Ive got quite a lot of work to do to be remembering all your tips etc!

Congratulations to everyone on their saving and thanks for all the inspiration! I'm going to try and do this in my head and off of the thread for rest of November to try and get into the hang of it ready for December!

One question.. If I'm using coupons on my grocery and say for example I save £50, does that count?

    Thanks in advance

  • Just took a break from making stuff to go to allotment and pick up some more taties, and found a small flock of sheep in there. Cheeky b*ggers were having a gay ol' time amongst the winter veg! A more practical person than me would have had a freezer full of mutton by now. Me, I just salivated as young fella-me-lad came and took em away (I wasn't salivating at the sheep).

OH swapped a shovel of potash from the fire for a jar of homemade jam today.
Ssshh - I might know about deals in/near Keswick
