  • Well, another £3.00 saved from bringing own lunch into work. Have sold 3 items on Ebay for around £58.00 plus postage. Will work out fees and exact profit tomorrow and add to the total then.

Got 12 days to make another £120. Will have to have a bit of an ebay push this weekend to get another 10 items listed. I really want to try and get to my target as this is my first go at this challenge. That said, if I don't get all the way I still have a lot more compared to if I had not done the challenge at all!!

Anyhow.....just enjoying a nice glass of red wine - much needed after a long and crazy week in work!! Have a good evening everyone.

    Morning everyone,

Still no total update from messing around with my spreadsheet, oops! I've got 5 custom made bracelet orders to fulfil this weekend so I'm rather thrilled. My Dad has been away for 4 weeks renovating a house of mine (which we've just rented out, whoop whoop) and is back tomorrow so I'm going to spend today tidying the house like he hasn't been away, my eBay auctions start ending in about 5 hours so I'll have a handful of things to parcel up, need to get a food shop in and a trip to the gym to make my £30 membership worth it, then I'm going to sit and make bracelets. They take about an hour each, eep.

Anyway, that leads me onto my main question. I want to post these custom made bracelets to a local Facebook selling page, but they're quite picture heavy - I have about 4 photos which show how many charms I have, then I have 7 example photos and I have a LOT of text to explain the process/prices/etc. Can anyone think of an "easy" way to do this...I'm not too sure about all the new changes to Facebook. Can I just upload them to an album to go onto the Facebook group without them showing on my own profile? I'm pimping these out to my friends and colleagues elsewhere and would just prefer if they weren't available on my own profile.

£27 hit my bank from a MS and an audit job.
Must remember to pay in the cheque I've got for some other work (which I'm sure I already added to this challenge when I was feeling too behind!!) But haven't been able to get to the bank yet as been at work all week.

Keeping my fingers crossed for Ebay sales tomorrow!! Not holding my breath though as it's all just little bits and pieces, nothing worth much at all. But there's lots, so going for quantity over quality of bids!! :D

You could set up your own selling page/ profile? (sorry short and sweet but I'm on Phone) :)

    Morning all :)

well 2 early starts and fairly ok night's sleeps in a row! hopefully make it 3 tonight :) (big deal for me :) x)

Looking forward to tomorrow - 40+ ebay listings ending - though haven't dared to check yet today for fear of disappointment... as one other poster mentioned... my stuff too is quantity over quality...so no 1 item will earn much - so dependent on selling a larger number.....this will be about 2 months of trying to sell these same items...am considering batching them up as carboot or joblot type listings - does anyone have any experience of this?

Started christmas shopping and was quite chuffed to save £3 on a £8 item by buying it new on ebay :)... so adding that to my total....it's things like that which really cheer me up (sad I know)....but the stuff you literally would be buying anyway and you manage to get it cheaper :) *swoon* :D

anyways hope you all have a great moneymaking weekend and that all your ebay listings be high bidded ones xxxxx

p.s. forgot to mention got my free vosene shampoo through the post this morning - it's only 100ml so wont last more than a few weeks but I will be saving the jiffy bag it came in for ebay sales...using the back of the letter that came with it for my shopping list scrap paper for the next few weeks and when the shampoo is done the bottle will be the perfect size to refill and reuse for airline friendly liquid carriage limits :D x
