Banging Head Against A Brick Wall!!

I am currently trying to pay off a QuickQuid balance using a credit card. I phoned them 2 weeks ago to do it over the phone, as I have done easily and quickly with a lot of other companies, only to be told that their computer system does not allow payments to be made using a credit card over the phone, and that they would have to send me a Paypal link to do it that way.
Since I have recieved the link I have tried on quite a few occasions to make the payment and each time it says that the card cannot be verified or used. I have phoned them a few times just to be told to keep trying and it will work, although it never does and on 2 separate cards with funds available.
The staff are always so unhelpful when I call too, like I am inconveniencing them by having a problem with what they have sent me and I keep going round in circles without ever getting anywhere and I am almost at the end of my tether! I was going to call them again today but if I get told to 'try it one more time' I think I will scream!!
Has anyone else had a problem with them?

No experience of this, but if you are unhappy with the service, complain via the email address on the website, especially if it costs you extra interest.
If they fob you off, then you can complain to the FOS after 8 weeks of no reply or a final fob off response.
