What proof of those earnings do you have? Do you have bank statements?

Why not write a book on how to make 20-40K pa playing online Poker, sell it for £5-£10 (should sell a load on Ebay) then you will have more money for a deposit!

You could also put in some overtime and earn more money!

Also, should you be able to get a mortgage (I am no expert so don't know if you will be able to) then surely this 'income' is tax-free so you should be able to get a larger mortgage.

too many good books already, and i have 25k put away so i could put 20k down if that would make a difference.

never seen "gambler" as a self cert but I do have clients that spread bet on currencies and stock exchanges for a living and they have self certed as "traders".

  • word of caution here, the reason a lot of people get caught out is because on these payslips you buy off the net the tax is not worked out accurately and also with a lot of peoples payslips the net pay will differ by maybe a penny in at least 1 of the payslips provided so they do have ways. and the bank statement are usually not worth the paper they are printed on due to looking nothing like the statement for that particular bank. so dont do it.

but if you do i hope you get caught the first time you apply, then you details will be placed on the national hunter system and cefas. then when you have bounced around half a dozen lendes, each declining your application but not telling you why, as it states they dont have to tell you on the declaration, and you have wasted all the money on application fees as well as maybe valuation fees feel free to come back on here and tell us, i could do with a alaugh.
