This is the information from a previous post:
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=354488
Which is slowly making it's way down the discussion board, so I thought I would repost it to hopefully get some feedback.
Anyway, details are:
Start Date: June 1986
Term: 25 years
Payments: £10/month
Surrender Value: £4830 (as of 22/1/2007)
G'teed Sum Assured: £2525
Decalred Bonus: £1908.51
May also be worth considering I got 348 FP shares a few years back!
My question is should I cash the policy in since Friends Provident are giving poor performance. The policy was set up by my dad (now deceased) and was probably just as a savings plan so the money is not needed for anything in particular. I would probably re-invest the money elsewhere (probably ask for advice for that on another thread.)
