Not a good mixture - a stone tile floor and a litre bottle of olive oil. I've done my best to clear it all up but am still left with a very slippery floor. Any suggestions??

Another one with the same experience here! I just had non-bio, and it took time, but eventually worked.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

That's what my friend needed when her dh decided to be helpful and squirted about half a bottle of neat Stardrops on the stone kitchen floor to 'help her out' and clean it!!! They were skating on it for days. She had to ban the kids from the kitchen, to avoid trips to A&E!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

It happened to me once, so I know what it's like! The best thing to do is scatter cat litter all over it, wait until it soaks the oil up (which it will, like a miracle), scoop it all up and put in the bin. Then wash the floor with a solution of warm water, a little Stardrops and a lot of vinegar, which will cut through the grease. I always keep cat litter in for this precise reason.KNIT YOUR SQUARE TOTALS:

That's an even better tip! I don't have a cat, so no cat litter, but I think everyone has nasty perfumed talc in a cupboard somewhere!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
