Hi all, my little girl was bought a build a bear rabbit from a car boot and she really likes dressing it up however I am not willing to pay £10 an outfit for them. I have loads of wool and fabric at home and was gonna have a go at making some clothes for it. Has anyone else done this and can give me some tips? Would newborn baby knitting patterns fit? I was gonna get the other clothes and make some fabric clothes from that but she wants a cardigan for it as well lol
thanks in advance

That is a great idea. I remember my mum making my sister clothes for her barbie every night before Christmas. I was so delighted when I got a set myself. They came in an old biscuit tin for the wardrobe.
Maybe something like a 16inch doll clothes would work.

I'd like to make some of these too. Both my children like the build a bear and the Argos versions, so will have a go too. Any more patterns out there?0

Had a look round and found a blog post that says Cabbage Patch dolls clothes patterns will fit build a bear. Also this dress should fit:

Here's a cute jumper to knit: http://www.kidsknits.com/free/monkstergetsstranded.html and another http://www.kidsknits.com/free/monkster.htm
Last one I can only like to on ravelry. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/toy-pullover-or-vest You will probably need to set yourself up with a user name and password - but if you like knitting you will find just lots here anyway.
I found these by searching for build a bear in ravelry.0
