Just spoken to the OR regarding acount. he said to open an account after BR. My concern is, will it be up and running by the time of my next pay? Any idea how long it takes for an application to go through?0

try to go bankrupt the day after pay day so you have the whole month to sort out a new bank and to get your salary rediredted.
or get you salary rediredcted into a trusted persons bank a/c (parent?)
or ask your employer to pay you by cheque for a month0 -
