My friend sent me an advert for work with the Election office at the next election. Around £150 for a days work, either counting or sitting ticking off peoples names in a school!

Might be useful to point out that this refers to the Electoral Office for Northern Ireland.0

Sorry, I thought that was implicit, seeing as its in the N. Ireland forum?0 -
Most of the posts will be filled by people who have done it before, as they are offered first. However there are a few areas where they are undersubscribed - I will post these tomorrow.0

The areas where staff are needed most are:-
Newry, Dungannon,Garvagh, Kilrea, South Armagh and Fermanagh. Hope this helps.0 -
I have done this for about 10 years now. They always need staff, so apply anyway.happiness is being able to have one more drink0

Thanks to OP for this. I had meant to apply last time and missed it and would have missed it again but for our OP, as i havent seen any newspaper ads down our way.0

I would expect so... I know I put it like that in my first post, but I would be surprised if that's all there was to it!0 -
