Election office work...

My friend sent me an advert for work with the Election office at the next election. Around £150 for a days work, either counting or sitting ticking off peoples names in a school!

Most of the posts will be filled by people who have done it before, as they are offered first. However there are a few areas where they are undersubscribed - I will post these tomorrow.

The areas where staff are needed most are:-
Newry, Dungannon,Garvagh, Kilrea, South Armagh and Fermanagh. Hope this helps.

I have done this for about 10 years now. They always need staff, so apply anyway.

lowdenclear, it involves a lot more that ticking off peoples names, i have been a senior presiding officer for 6 years and have also done the count on a number of occasions. The hours are long.

I would expect so... I know I put it like that in my first post, but I would be surprised if that's all there was to it!
