The Mitsubishi garage we've put an £8000 deposit on a car with has gone into liquidation, the cars have all been taken by Black Horse Finance to a secure compound (we don't know where this is) and they aren't answering emails. The liquidators have told us we need to speak to them but won't/aren't allowed to give us a number!
We have the email address for a Mark Ellison at Black Horse Finance at Estuary House in Speke if anyone can provide me with a phone number I'd be so grateful!
I didn't know which board to post on but I know this board is good with stuff like this, please help if you can

Why on earth did you give them an £8k deposit?
Garages I've dealt with have always been happy with a £500 deposit."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -

He was paying it in full over a few weeks so maybe deposit isn't the right word it's just the amount they'd had off us up to this point. We weren't expecting an official Mitsubishi dealership to rip us off like this!Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0

Thanks crazyguy, we've called customer services and they couldn't put us through to Mark Ellison, they said they could see he exists as an employee but they have no contact details for him and couldn't put us through to anyone else who could help. If anyone has a number for this guy directly I'd love to have itTrying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0

Not hindsight mate. I was asking a question, not offering advice.
Note the question (?) mark."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0 -
is there anyway you can contact your bank to stop the money? Mind you I am guessing it would be too late. Can you contact another Mitsubishi garage locally and see what they say? What does it say on the paper work - who did you pay the money to Mitsubishi or the guy?
I am really sorry. what a crap situation to be in.
What about looking at the Linked in website for his details? or any other type of business websites?
Good luckNevertheless she persisted.0 -
We've contacted head office, my boyfriend go a call from the Chief Exec of Mitsubishi UK yesterday because of comments he made on Mitsubishi UK facebook page, apparently they were very apologetic about it and they had no idea it was happening, unfortunately there's nothing they can do as it's a franchise but could we please remove the comments or at least follow them up with another post about how CS are dealing with it! https://www.facebook.com/MitsubishiUK?sk=wall
Basically they only care about being publicly slated, the comments caused a big meeting at Head Office but we still have no money back and no car!
We have the receipts for the payments but whether anyone will honour this we don't know.
I've looked everywhere I can think of, seems like people that do this kind of business don't like to be contacted!Trying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0 -

Thanks SouthCoast, we've rung them and been advised to send a recorded delivery letter to both the Black Horse Finance company and the liquidators so lets see how far that gets us!
If the person who has commented on the facebook page is an MSE member, thanks xTrying to sort my life out, and I'm going to get there!0
