Have you spoken to Nationwide to see how long it would take to transfer the money? If you set up a standing order from one to the other on say the 29th surely it would be in the same day?0

it would work if not for weekends, i think money transfers between banks take 3-5 days.
can i not argue this with natwest? it does not state it anywhere in my terms and conditions that i cant change bank accounts or must have a natwest account.0 -

I havent banked with Natwest but you can try it? Ask them to point out where it says that you can't change banks.0 -
Bump does anyone bank with natwest, and know anything out taking a loan from them????????????????0

I work for natwest but only as a cashier, but I do know that funds have to come from a Natwest current account.
Natwest won't close your account if you have a loan with them, even if you try and reclaim your charges.
If your salary now goes in to your Nationwide account I would set up a standing order for the amount of your loan to go in to your Natwest cuurent account each month, a few working days before it is due. If you get paid on the 28th of each month set it up for that day and it will be in your natwest account for the 1st.0
