”A MoneySaver walked into a bar..” Poll Started 22 January 07. Two weeks ago Martin launched a champagne contest for the funniest joke starting with the above phrase. Please vote for your favourite out of his shortlist:

A.) with a crocodile under his arm. He asks the barman, "Do you serve Bank Managers?" "Certainly," replies the barman. "Great! Give me a pint of ale and a Bank Manager for my crocodile."

B.) with his girlfriend and said to her, "I'm only having a half. - What are you only having?"

C.) and orders 12 shots of tequila. After downing the 10th the bartender says "I don’t think you should be drinking those so fast." "You would if you had what I have," the man says, “What’s that?”. The MoneySaver replies "fifty pence."

D.) and makes a successful compensation claim

E.) and asks for a soda-water and lime. The barman pours it and says, "that’ll be 50p please". The MoneySaver replies: "How much for cash?"

F.) and said to the barman 'I'm torn between two shores'. The barman responds 'What shores?”, the MoneySaver replies 'a pint of bitter thanks'.

G.) and the barman angrily says, “how dare you come back, you still owe me cash from yesterday! The MoneySaver replies, “eh? I've never been in this place in my life!" The bartender replies, "Oh, sorry, that’s uncanny; you must have a double." To which the MoneySaver replies, "Thanks. Make it a scotch."
