Party Plan - Ideas / Suggestions Required!

Hi All,

I'm looking to increase my income as I'm returning to work after maternity leave, and have less hours, and therefore less money! I used to do Virgin Vie - the commission was quite good and I think this time of year is good for these kinds of thing.

Our local area is quite saturated with Avon / Body Shop / Kleeneze and I'm thinking I would like to try something different to Virgin Vie.

Does anyone have any suggestions of anything that they do, that might be suitable? I've seen Sentsy mentioned a few times on here, and don't think there's much of that in my area, but wondered what their commission and deals were like?

Any information or suggestions of companies would be gratefully received!

Many Thanks

Hi I dont know the proper name but what about the candle party plan. I think its called Party Lite? Good luck x
  • How about Truly Madly childrens clothes?
  • Thanks for the replies ladies, I think Party Lite has a few reps in my area too, plus they are quite pricey I think. Although on the other hand they might be good for going to Christmas Fayres and things.

I've never heard of Truly Madly, but I shall go and Google!

Thanks Sally, I have just gone and registered for more info. I've never heard of them but they seem to have loads of other stuff as well as clothes.

I quite fancy the idea of going to events, fundraisers and suchlike in the run up to Christmas, as I think it might help generate interest. Its always good to see different things at these type of events too, as opposed to Virgin Vie, Body Shop, Usborne Books etc.

Do you work for them, or know of anyone who does?

Have you thought about Scentsy? they are like candles but without the flames - its basically a warmer and its plugged in and the bulb inside gently melts the wax. New to the UK this year too so plenty of room for lots more consultants

Hi, I am a consultant for xxxxxx, and I do party plan, they have a fantastic range of products, Baked mineral cosmetics, skin care and Natural nutritional supplements, which I have found all sell extremely well, probably because they are really good and have endorsements from celebrities, athletes, and celebrity make-up artists Chloe Butcher and Sarah Jagger. I have found the staff at head office to be excellent to contact being both friendly and professional. check my website for more info

Excuse me, what have I done wrong from what I can see, other posts mention companies, I have done the same!!
As the title of post suggest "Party Plan - Ideas/Suggestions"
Merely putting ideas forward can't see what's wrong with that. Isn't that the point of this post?

Have a look at Wikaniko, quite a new company so many haven't heard of them. Their products can be sold many different ways including party plan, events, markets, person to person, catalogue, online and any more you can think of!

    Good luck!
