Wow, that's a lot of debt, you need to get down the Debt Free Wannbe baord and have a chinwag.
Most important thing first? stop spending on tat and get any rubbish you've bought sold."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0 -
If you are serious then there is no point consolidating you will just do it again. You need to learn how to curb the spending before taking on any additional borrowing. We have all been there.
Your answer is snowballing the debts, you will find that you can pay it off quicker than the loan term anyway without any additional borrowing. Yes your lifestyle will change, but it needs to if you don't want to be back here with double the debt in 3 years.
Head over to http://www.whatsthecost.com/snowball.aspx and put your figures in, but most of all stop spending. Sounds like you have done though if you have cut up the cards.0 -
This was my situation a few years ago. Only an IVA saved me in the end. NEVER again!!
Good luck OP. xx0 -

Hello
I'm new to this subject, but have been finding the reclaiming PPI part of this site very useful.
But I just wanted to suggest something to you with regard to your three credit cards. Speak to the companies concerned and ask if they will reduce your interest rate on each card (American Express will do this) so that the amount you pay off each month does not just cover the interest. Good luck0
