Hi there,
We're due to meet some caterers tomorrow to discuss our wedding next summer
Can anyone advise what we should be asking/discussing with them??
Obviously we have a few ideas just making sure we haven't missed anything

What kind of caterers?
MeganMay GC - £100 per week
Week 1 - £120/£100 , Week 2 £110/100:o, Week 3 £110/£100:mad:, Week 4 £50/100Week 5
DFW - March '13 - c/c £5600, April £4500, May £2500 :T0 -
Check that all your 'extras' are included, you would be amazed how many caterers charge extra for things like linen and a cake knife.
Check things like flexibility with your numbers, will you have chance to sample the menu?
Also we just got our invoice for our caterers and I stupidly forgot to think about VAT so when you discuss prices be sure to check if VAT is included or extra.
We just discussed our options, our timings, drinks, numbers and when payments would be due.
Hope that helps

looking at 3 course sit down meal and possibly a hog roast in the evening0

1) Vat
2) who gets the leftovers - ours weren't officially allowed to leave them!
3) Who deals with you - the important person or the minion
4) Do they have any other weddings on that day
5) When do you have to pay
6) Do they bring all the equipment
7) Go though the quote with a fine tooth comb - they will charge you for table number stands and a million other things you wouuldn't have thought of!
8) Make sure you like them0
