Clearing Clutter to Save Pennies

I was reading Mr. Bloater's blog and became inspired to finally start listing things I had on eBay. I've two rooms filled with things that are just cluttering up my house.
So, I thought I'd start this diary to keep up with my progress. Busy day today, but at least I'm going to list what I've accomplished so far:
Dug out enough china to put up 52 auctions on eBay on the free listing day. I have bids for $119. so far. (I'm in U.S.)
Dug out 45 RPM records I've needed to do something with for a long time. I'll list them later -- much later, probably -- but at least I'll begin scanning them and getting the auctions ready.
I downloaded TurboLister so I could work on more listings slowly over time as I ease back into selling at eBay.
That's enough to keep me busy for a week.
More to come!
I have read some of the posts here. . . but see I have much to explore.

Welcome to MSE Mrs P! Good luck with your auctions - definitely worth getting those things out of the house - and some money rolling back in.
Sounds like you have enough to keep you going for a while!0 -
Thanks for the welcome, Mizmir! I find what you are doing here fascinating and extremely motivating. I can't wait to start reading more threads about saving money, etc. I do a few "little" things, but need to get back in the habits. The dryer is calling me to take things out and fold them! I'll check in later this afternoon. Again, thank you!Nov Goal: Make $20. per day extra/ $90.10 today

My first batch of eBay listings goes off tonight. So far, $176. in bids. Can't get too excited as this is my brother-in-law's china from his store. Still, it's something I have had hanging over me for quite sometime. Will be nice to sell some of it. What doesn't sell between now and Christmas will go back to the store for the annual sale. He can mark it down enough to sell after three years of my trying to sell it.
I'm going to try to figure out TurboLister templates today for MY stuff in case of a free listing day anytime soon.
Thanks for all the "thanks." Good luck to all.Nov Goal: Make $20. per day extra/ $90.10 today
