hi all
I have been working really hard to get myself out of debt and I am succeeding. I have had a couple of credit card debts which were both defaulted on. I am currently paying off one of those which is on my credit report the other one I have asked for paperwork which they have not sent and I have not paid them as yet I was shocked to find out this morning that the debt which I am not paying at the moment is not on my credit report and I know it was on there previously. what has happened to it not that I am complaining of course but I am very curious?

Couple of possibilities
-Was it defaulted 6years ago? in which case it would automatically drop off.
-Sometimes when a debt is sold on it disappears in the original creditors name and then reappears a few days later in the debt collectors name (if this happens check the default date is the same as the previous entry, not a new date).
-Slim chance that they have removed it because they cannot prove the debt.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
I have an RBS C Card which I closed to spending and it vanished from all my credit reports. I still get statements and am paying it off. Not been on there for 2 years.:beer:0
