My dd made me smile this morning

She came into my bedroom from waking up and the first thing she said was 'we mustn't forget to leave a carrot for the reindeer' she's 4 LOL and I said awww have you been thinking about christmas in bed? And she said yes and we need to leave something to eat and drink for Santa! I just thought it was so sweet!
Spreading a little Christmas joy all year round :santa2:

Awww, that's so cute! We used to leave a carrot for Rudolph too, but my Dad told us that Santa would prefer a can of lager ;)

  • My 9 and 6 yr old boys always put a carrot out for the reindeer - I leave a few pieces on the carpet and a few crumbs from Santa's mince pie.

My eldest wanted me to put the xmas tree up yesterday  I really don't know whose more excited - them or me!!

There's a great book for young kids called "Father Christmas needs a wee" which is all about the inevitable consequences of having to have a drink in every house he visits.

You mean this one? Looks like it would be a good addition to a xmas eve hamper ..

Aw, I miss those days when they are so innocent and so sparkly eyed about Christmas.

aawww so cute. we were all talking about xmas on the way to school a couple weeks back. and my eldest son ( 6) was worried that santa was gonna be too full up by time he got to our house to eat the mince pie or cookie.awwww he is such a genuine little boy. My dd ( 8) soon corrected him, lol. got to love big sisters.

it is fab what runs through little ones minds at night times. mine wake up in the mornings with some of the most craziest ideas sometimes. but i love it.
