Boots £5 at Matalan (Kids + Adults) or £4 with code !

My 2 orders both arrived yesterday...jumpers and boots for all for xmas! Thanks op....wonder what this weeks deal will be! Anyone heard yet?

Did anyone find these boots quite tight? I took them into store to exchange them for the next size, only to be told that i have to pay the difference of £17? I tried to argue with her but she wasnt having any of it. Came home and thought i should have just told her i had no receipt and she would have swapped them? but ive already wasted one trip not going to make another so now im stuck with them. Have emailed customer service and see what they have to say.

I have a pair that are too big....I didn't have them with me last week but spoke to staff and basically said I couldn't find receipt and I didn't use my Matalan card as i've lost it, as this shows a log of purchases. She said obviously they couldn't refund but would happily exchange or credit note. Now this isn't done and dusted, so not in the bag yet and for £4 I'll find someone who fits them but maybe if you are out and about it may be worth trying that route!

I work for Matalan and they should have just exchanged them for you, after all you have already bought a pair and the pair that they're swapping for you there they are going to be able to sell at current price anyway, so they're not losing anything! The c/s staff should have marked down the price.... or just done a straight swap without going through the tills if the code was the same!!

You should have been able to do a straight swap. I couldn't find my receipt the other day, and took them into the store. They let me exchange for a different pair which sold for the same price. I have to say that the staff at the Matalan store I went to were really helpful and polite.
