Have I a chance ?

in 1993 I entered the property market and bought into my first house which I am still living in to this day...
I was sold an endowment policy by the company United Friendly... a few months later I was contacted by them again and told to up my payments as there would be a shortfall if I didnt...
When I was sold the policy at the start I asked about a repayment mortgage but was advised that they were not the way ahead...

9 years later I had to give up on the endowment as I was continually contacted by UF to up my payments to help avoid a shortfall in the long term... I sought some help from a friend who advised me to seek my mortgage elsewhere in the form of a repayment... this I did and I switched to Abbey...
I know some on here will be horrified to find out that I had to extend my mortgage period to help make the payments each month...:(

I remember selling off my endowment and getting pittance for it... I think it was in the region of £300...

United Friendly have since been bought over by Royal London... this happened when I was still in my endowment term...

I'm not at home at the moment so cant check for old policy numbers etc... If I cant find any old policies with either UF or Royal London is it still possible to contact them and get some info ?

Do any of the experts on here think I may have a case for being mis sold an endowment policy or have I left it too late ?

Thanks for looking...

I have the feeling that I have seen on here that anyone like yourself is now 'out of time'

Just because there was a shortfall, (which most of us suffered) doesnt actually mean that you were mis sold.

What makes you think that yo were mis sold. (apart from above)
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
