Ok you wonderfull creative lot i need some ideas........
I really want to make homemade gifts etc for christmas as i think home made is sooooooooooooooo much better than alot of shop bought toot!
Anyways i can't sew or knit (i will learn one day!!!) but i can cook and bake, really well
and would love to make some HM foodie style gifts but i need some ideas as to what i could make. So far i have got the soup/ cake in a jar, chocolate pizza, homemade chocolates all presented in homemade decorated boxes/ jars etc but i want to know what else i could do as i feel there are plenty of great ideas out there but i just cannot seem to think of them at the moment
Any tips would be appreciated!

Hmmm,
Preserves like jam, marmalade? Kirsty's Homemade Christmas (available on 4OD) has recipe for Christmas chutney.
Personalised chocolate slabs?
Use glass pens to personalise/decorate jars, tie a ribbon around them and fill them with treats (homemade or jelly beans etc for kids)?"Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -

Bunting is really easy to make, instructions on the internet. Cheap to get hold of the material. I know you say you dont sew or knit, but with this you just need to be able to stitch a straight line once you've pinned the material to the tape. I made some using old clothes and hand stitched it all. Many thanks to everyone who posts competitions and works so hard to provide all the answers!

I was thinking along these lines....

thats fab! i love it!
Yes, and would be very easy to do!
For children, I'm sure they'd love something that included their name in funky lettering, which again would be very easy to do.
Think I'll attempt some this year
Off to ebay to have a look for glass paints....."Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?" (Douglas Adams)0 -

Last year I made gingerbread boxes and filled them with home made truffles and fudge. The lids had stained glass stars in them and were decorated with royal icing piping. Everybody loved them, in fact one of my friends still hasn't eaten it as it looks too pretty! I used the Ikea version of gingerbread, doubled it and made 10 boxes out of the mix
