Buying gift vouchers

Other than buying them at face value or buying them slightly cheaper on ebay is there a way of buying vouchers (like debenhams or m and s) cheaper.
I ask as I am sure someone mentioned before on one the forums here that they had been able to buy reduced cost vouchers.

If you know anyone who works for the NHS they can buy gift vouchers and cards cheaper than face value through nhsdiscounts.com. It may only be about 3.5% discount but some go up to 7% off or more. I recently bought a tv from Comet and that worked out at £50 cheaper by buying vouchers. Some of the companies even do sms text vouchers so you have use them instantly rather than having to wait for delivery. Hope this helps.
