I received this in an email titled
Prize Draw Winner - Peugeot 508‏

You recently entered our Peugeot 508 prize draw and I am delighted to announce that you are the lucky winner of a Peugeot 508 and a one night stay in a luxury hotel on a weekend of your choice (subject to terms & conditions).



I have tried to search for the competition but the only one i can find is the weekend use of a car with a one night hotel stay but it ended 3 weeks ago.

I am reading the email and thinking I have won a car but the competition says a weekend, i enter lots so cant be sure if this is the right competition or not.
Does anyone remember any competitions to win a car or have i just won a weekend car hire?


Any help would be great as i cant phone them until tomorrow to confirm

The link goes to a Passat comp for a weekends hire/hotel

but the last one they did was for a Peugeot but it ended on the 3rd October and it seems quite a while ago to only just be contacting someone, the email makes it sound like i won a car but the only comp i can find is a weekend - very confusing

Do you remember entering a comp to win a car? Have you googled the 'from' email address? Might shed some light on it.

Thanks, I looked on here as soon as i read the email and was really pleased with a weekend away but when i showed my boyfriend he got me all confused because it doesnt say anything about the car being for a weekend,
Oh well i guess im not that lucky, weekend will be lovely though shame its not a sports car as would be perfect excuse to leave kids behind

I googled the email address and its a legitimate europcar email address

Thats what i thought, is it usual to take so long to let a winner know though? Normally i know within a week max of the closing date.

The email is so unclear but then i guess they expect people to remember what they entered, im hopeless as i enter so many

I remember entering this one, it is the car for the weekend and hotel accomodation. There is another one as well ( Hertz?) around the same time, similar prize.

I have seen people posting in here that they have jus had WEMs for comps that ended in July so guess it depends on the company. Hope you get some clarification tomorrow and that you enjoy your prize whatever It may be
