I am a student and recently got a job working at mecca! When I went to the interview, I wore shirt, tie etc. I noticed all staff wore usual mecca t-shirts, black trousers...
My question is I have an induction. Do I wear tie and shirt again until they hand me a work shirt, or do I dress down a little, maybe just a shirt and open collar!
I always get worried about what to wear when it's job interview and inductions etc!

Induction to me means you have got the job which is great!!! Now your employer should have told you what they would like you to wear until you get your work clothes. Just give them a call and ask them what they suggest you wear then you know you cannot go wrong.0

I've tried calling, but no managers are there until 8pm, which is when my induction is.

I always think it better to be overdressed than underdressed. If you wear a shirt and tie, you can always take the tie off if you think it's too much?0
