Rebuilding Credit Rating

Hi all,
Was declared bankrupt last year, discharged Jan 2011.
Have cleaned up my credit file so everything is now showing as satisfied and in the process of having a CCJ removed as it is incorrect. Also registered on electoral role at current home.
What's the next step in starting to rebuild my credit rating?
Have been making sure all current bills and commitments are paid in full and on time, almost 12 months now, but still struggle to get accepted for 'credit builder' credit cards, loans, etc.
Is it just a case of giving it time?
Was hoping to try and rebuild as much as possible in the next 12 months with a view to buying my first property next year.
Thanks in advance
