They just put the prices up as I am not on a fixed tariff too, by £20 per month! I am iin a contract till March 2012 unfortunately. Jumpers all round! (I do anyway, Im ALWAYS cold - T shirt, jumper, warm PJs, socks slippers AND blanket!)
You are doing really well. Congratulations.
One thought for the cold weather from a chilly bunny in a draughty old house - get a vest. You need something that fits close to your skin as this traps the air warmed by you body and makes life much more comfortable. Does not matter if it is an old t-shirt that is too tight or a new one from Primark. I really notice how much colder I feel if I just wear a T-shirt, however many layers are on top.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
my word,i think you are doing great, both with the money planning and coping with OH's problem, well done you.
really glad to hear about your shopping trip-i was just the same when i started on here. i used to go off to sainsburys,no list or even any idea what i had in the cupboards or freezer.just threw anything and everything i fancied the look of in the trolley.
now i list what i have in,think up a meal plan for the week, including breakfasts ans packed lunches.then off i go to aldi, and anything they don't have i either pop across the road to sainsburys or decide i didn't need it anyway!
i'd have every cleaning product going.now i buy washing up liquidwashing powder tablets(but only use 1 per wash),stardrops, and disinfectant.that does everything i need.
sorry,am rambling now!
keep strong, keep posting.have a feeling you will smash this

Well done U MiaowMiaowMiaow, u are doing well.
As you will see I have alot of debt, much of it gained with my Ex OH who like me was a shopaholic / foodaholic and sadly a gambler. Well done you on saying no to the takeaway and cooking instead. Much of my CC debt is due to takeways and too much food and wine. I am back with my parents now and trying to get it down again. I online shop now as it tells you of all offers avail, and you don't get tempted too buy what is not on your list as you don't go down any aisles!! Delivery is only £3 on some days so cheaper than a cab (I don't have a car)
Everyone is right about layers. I always think am I cold or am I underdressed? Also a (savvy) friend told me never buy full price - always buy from charity shops or things in the sale. She was sooooo right I hear her all the time now saying 'could you get that in the sale' or 'could you get that from a charity shop'
