Wowcher £14 for a £50 voucher to spend to spend on silverrepublic jewellery + 10% tcb

Seems like a good deal for £50 worth of jewellery. Voucher is valid for 12 months so the voucher may make a good christmas / birthday present for someone who is hard to buy for.

Yes I agree it does seem excessive postage although having said that postage insurance on high risk items such as jewellery can be expensive. I guess £4.50 is probably worth paying though as it seems a good deal overall. I tried to post it on hotukdeals but they wouldn't accept it because silverrepublic doesn't have a phone number only a webmail form for contact and the mods didn't accept it. It looks like its probably a legitiate and at £14 its worth a punt!
  • - Here's the link x

Thanks for making it a clicky. MSE wont let me do that despite having had this account for months and making 5 posts before none of which were spam I might add!
  • ...Also says the voucher is £15, not £14 x

Yes there is an error as when you buy it charges you £14 :)
  • Did anyone else go for this? I did and placed my jewellery order as soon as I was able - it took 2 weeks to arrive and everything in my order is damaged! They have very tightly squeezed my 3 items into one A6 size padded envelope. Plus it's mentioned above that the £4.50 p&p charge would likely cover postal insurance on high risk items such as jewellery .... well, not if - as they have done - there is only a 58p stamp on it. They wouldn't even send it first class! I assumed it at least would have been sent recorded delivery for that price. Not happy. I've e-mailed them so I'll see what they have to say.

    Anyone else had any experience?

It's silver plated, not silver. Some of it was really poor quality. You can get much nicer costume jewellery on the high street (for similar prices, or much less).

I complained because I was so disappointed. They had good customer service and sent a couple of other things to replace the ones I had complained about. It was easier to accept that than get a refund from KGB/ Living social (can't remember who I bought it through).

Yeah, I agree. I was surprised that it looked so cheap - I was expecting it to be much better quality to be honest.

I brought 3 of these vouchers for christmas presents as it seemed a good deal. Will have to see how it goes if everything they are selling is complete crap then I guess I'll have to give siverrepublic / wowcher hell and see what they will do about it.
