Hi
I haven't posted in a while but have still been lurking in the shadows
I have raised the money to apply for bankruptsy and have been scouring the threads for info to help me complete my paperwork - thank you everyone.
I do have a question though...
I left my mortgaged property just over a year ago and have been lucky in securing a council property. My question is, how do I list my mortgaged property on my forms so that when it does get sold, it will be included as a debt within the bankruptsy? The bank and Housing Association (it was shared ownership) have so far refused to accept voluntary reposession even though they have had the keys since June 2010 and have entered the property several times.
What are the must do/don'ts for the form?
Many thanks for any advice you may be able to give me.

The board is a bit quiet today so hopefully you will get help soon.

hank you, sorry for being impatient. I am off work today and just want to get these forms out the way so I don't spend another minute worrying over them. Next day off work I have a very early appt with the Judge :-/

I think the main problem is, the Housing Association. I and others have voluntary given their house up but only had dealings with Mortgage lenders ans Secured Loan lenders. I am not sure about your agreement with the HA, is br mentioned in your t's and c's with them.0

I am not sure of details as document box was lost when we moved - not sure how that happened but am ure it will be kept warm by all the bloomin missing odd socks!! The HA had sent me a notice saying they intended to seek possession the vweek before they received the keys then did an immediate backtrack. My mitake was not sending keys to mortgage company according to CAB

The whole property thing gives me a headache, but presumably something like this?

With a note added somewhere to say that you are no longer inhabiting the property, and that you are waiting for repossession and sale?
You can add any explanation you require about the HA and property status in section 13.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
