Now this puts me in an interesting predicament- I have over £1000 of cat food on order, to pick up next Tuesday- do I insist that it goes through in 20 batches of just over £50 quid?

You can only use up to three vouchers at a time & they don't last very long, unless you have a fleet of vehicles to fill up.

That must be one hungry cat you have :D

40 or so unhomeable cats, and we need to stock up for winter:)
Thats why our rescue offers free neutering now, rescue and rehome just wasnt making enough impact in our area.
DONT BREED OR BUY WHILE HOMELESS ANIMALS DIE. GET YOUR ANIMALS NEUTERED TO SAVE LIVES.

Can you please tell me more about this offer, I looked on Asda's website but couldn't find any info...... is there a link to get more details?
Basicly, do you get a £5 off shop voucher when you fill up with £50+, or does the voucher have a conditional spend or is it just a free to use £5 voucher????
More info would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Nothing to do with fuel spend. Its Asda latest offer, if you spend £40 instore and use their price comparison site you get a £5 voucher

Or you can be really MSE and pick up discarded 5p off receipts you find in trolleys :D

(This is what I do all the time, and as someone above said, you can use 3 at one time so saving 15p a litre :) )

    Good luck with that.

It makes it so hard to combat the problem of unwanted cats when people won't get them neutered and will insist on getting kittens from pet shops instead of gorgeous cats from rehoming centres.

Apart from one all our cats throughout my whole life (I'm quite Old)have been "second hand" are were all beautiful and loved never a moments trouble if you treat them right.

That was my point. Locally ASDA is cheaper for food than Tesco. ASDA fuel is also at least 1p a litre cheaper anyway. So saving £1.80 on my diesel was nothing compared with saving £5-10 on my whole shop... and getting a £5 voucher.
Tesco is too expensive compared with ASDA is my opinion...
ASDA still do 3 for £10 wine deals.....too
NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!

Agree that Asda is cheaper on everyday goods but Tesco have lots more BOGOF, half price offers etc on so i get the best of all worlds.

My car takes £90 of fuel so my saving is nearer £3
