Hi everyone.
I have been lurking around for quite a while.
I knew I had loads of debt and decided to do something about it as a new years resolution.
Today I did a snowball and felt quite sick when I found out the total of it all.
About £41000.00.Gulp.Anyway I immediately cut up all my credit cards, which took some nerve,believe me.
It will take me about 5 years to pay off all this so am in it for the long haul.
Can I please be in your club?

Proud to be dealing with my debts at last.

Have just done my monthly budget and I have more going out than coming in so could I have a number please? Think I'm going to need some help - didn't realise (or didn't want to) just how bad things have gotten! Time to get my head out of the ground...

Welcome from a fellow debtee. My moment of truth was in December 05 and I've been working at the debt since then. It's been a bit of a struggle, a lot of worry IF YOU LET IT BE and there has been a few laughs especially when I was getting 15 phone calls a day from one creditor so I redirected the phone calls to !!!!!! lines or weather info etc..... not that you would do that of course.
If you have more going out than in then you may need advice from the likes of the Citizens advice or cccs. NEVER PAY FOR ADVICE ON DEBTS there is a lot of free advice available. Also look on this site for other help and bear in mind we are all in this together so when you are at your lowest ebb and are sitting on the end of the pier ready to end it all just remember we are here to help....... free.

I am completely in awe at how much you all have achieved! I'm almost addicted to reading peoples threads on daily spends and so i figured it was about time i got my a*se into gear and became a DEBT FREE WANNABE! I dont even know the total of my debts... how bad is that! :eek:

I'm going to go and do my budget plan right this minute! And then i will sort out my signiture! Please may i have a number... pretty please with a cherry on the top!
