  • Hi, Can I be a nerd please? I'm already a bit of a nerd anyway, but it would be great to be an official DFW nerd to add to my other nerdiness!
    Thanks :D

  • hiya ChopinonaBudget..

had to say, and please forgive my sense of humour if it offends you, but your sig made me giggle seeing your 'library debt', kind of appropriate/ironic for your soon to be nerd status and proves you have official reasoning to be a nerd, like a proper one :o

and seeing as i was last in line for my digits when updated list comes out we'll be NERD neighbours!!

Isn't it great? I can't claim credit, although me and my daughter are rather well known for doing this. Friends come over to watch DVDs and are gobsmacked by our system of getting the DVD player to work - hit it. Get the TV to work? Turn it off and on again. frequently. My old car was fab, I was literally the only person I knew who could drive it. My Dad tried, and the sillly !!!!!! didn't correct for the fact that it pulls constantly to the right, and nearly shot off into the middle of the road. :o Damn shame when I took it to a different MOT garage and they stuck that nasty sticker on it that said I was under no circumstances allowed to drive it home. In the end, we had to take it out the back and shoot it, poor wee thing.

And no, I'm not at all offended! Nerd neighbours, here we come!!!
