Can I use Sainsburys money off vouchers at Tesco?

Evening all, I'm a newbie to this forum do first of all - Hello!

I've been sent some money off vouchers from Sainsburys, £6 off a £30 shop. Can I use these vouchers at Tesco? I've only ever used Tesco at Tesco, Sainsburys at Sainsburys etc, but even with the £6 off Sainsburys are still blooming expensive!! I heard a while back that this is possible but wanted to know if anyone has done this recently. Thanks for your help. :beer:

I've used my Sainsburys vouchers in Tesco no problem but I did read a post the other day that said Tesco were going to be stopping this at the end of October.. sorry i can't find the thread..

Oh that's rubbish (not your post, I mean Tesco } I get quite a few Mr S vouchers and always spend them in Mr T as Mr S is too far to go.

Was told yesterday stopping them 31st Oct.

Yes it's true, Tesco's will stop taking competitors vouchers as from Monday 31st October. I got caught out by this on Saturday as some Jobsworth in my local store thought it was from immediate effect (of the email from HO) and the tills wouldn't accept other stores vouchers :eek: CS were very good about it to their credit and sorted it out for me I've been in there since and there's not been a problem but I've been reminded of the end date. Hth x
